I think two of the reasons they talk shit is for deterrent effect from
potential hunters who don't know any better and to make the public (who get
brainwashed into thinking shrooms are a terrible thing) think that they are
being tough on crime. Good to hear that you are going to make it out of this
one with no prison time. It looked pretty bad when it first happened.

I am a self taught shroom hunter in Florida, and I did teach myself from books.
I bought several guides and learned as much as I could- (before the days of
the www). It took me three fields before I found my first cubie, but, when I
first saw it, I knew it was what I had been seeking. And there were so many in
that field. Looking back, I'm sure I passed some up in the first fields I went
to that just didn't look quite right.
