The average time for certain strains to form mycelium is different with
each strain. Does anyone know the average time for the Ecuadorian Strain
to for at 74-78 degrees F. After three days my Aunt's Friend's Dog still
hasn't seen any formation. Also the strain known as "The Golden Teacher",
any info on this strain. Thanks.

- Molly, that cucumber deal that your cat is doing, how is that turning
out?

Usually takes about 4 days for the first signs of colonization. Then 2
weeks to birthing. pins can appear any day to a week or two and then
ready to pick in another week. Whole thing usually takes under a
month. Thats more or less for all cubensis strains.

Molly,

You are so lucky to have such a talented cat. She is obviously a natural.
Was this the project that suffered overlay and recovered? If so, good for
her. Continued luck (as if you need any) from me and my rather dim-witted
dog.

Yes Ben, this was the overlay project that recovered...and WOW did it
recover...i almost cant believe the amount of pins that are forming...my
cat has been running around here like she found a fresh patch of cat nip or
something...my cat actually just harvested a big one that came first, it
measured 8 inches tall with probably a 1/2inch stem....3 inch across
cap...quite amazing really....now my cat just needs something to do with
these zoomers....hmmmmmmmm. any suggestions?

:)

Sorry! I was trying to be cute...re: my earlier post about a talent for
paying too much on ebay. Once again I get a bigger kick out of myself than
the rest of the world. Oh well!

Actually paid 42 bucks plus shipping for a 15-1/2 Qt. All American, which
is about as cheap as I've sen them go. I did my homework for a change. Now
if it would just get here. It's been like a week and a half.

Silly Ben
