If you ever feel like expanding your security requirements at some future point (there's no time like the present; why stop with just giving-out a false email address) there's quite a variety of web-based methods of making yourself anonymous. Personally, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. Kid's stuff.
Consider walking STRAIGHT INTO the big league and get yourself a (free) copy of the awesome 'QuickSilver', which is a GUI-implementation of the MixMaster utility. (Using it now). Get it here....
http://quicksilver.skuz.net/
It uses 'chain remailing'; features integration with PGP (if needed); handles creation & use of 'nyms'; and has a plugin (if required) that treats newsgroups as mail-servers from which you can download & process anything you want.
Documentation is excellent.
The learning curve is quite steep for the beginner, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never go back.
You may also want to consider subscribing to the newsgroup 'alt.privacy.anon-server' (unfortunately rather troubled by trolls). The QuickSilver author makes the occasional post, and he's very helpful.
Good luck!
