View Full Version : Changing Perceptions

Hello everyone. I just came across this newsgroup and I have something to
share with you.

I've experimented pretty thoroughly with several hallucinogens as follows:
LSD, MDMA, marijuana, mushrooms, DXM, anticholinergics(sp?) and mescaline.

My waking and sleeping perceptions have changed as follows:

LSD made colors more vibrant and I see now the "unseen glitter of life",
also an openminded-ness has come to me, as sense of being part of a larger
whole, intrinsically.

MDMA gave me a cruel empathy of not just people but environment. My
intuition was hightened along with a sense of "knowing".

Marijuana is the magical herb on which I see true reality-- objective
non-essential perception of reality.

Mushrooms are similar to marijuana, but I've found they allow the search to
begin, the journey into knowing yourself. I was able to see inside other
people and "feel-see" their true natures.

DXM (in the form of Coricidin) allowed me to walk in the "shadow-lands".
Some call this the spirit plane. I was shifting from life to death and back
in an raging tidal wave. DXM made me realize that human beings create their
own realities and can change them at will.

Anticholinergics (Dramamine) NASTY NASTY NASTY trip. Taught me nothing
except for the fact that the human mind can actually hallucinate to such an
incredible degree that my friends were hanging out with me, I was at work,
or driving my car and it felt and seemed so real that it was frightening.
This also showed me that we are what we make of reality.

Mescaline -- "the only way to fly" as in the Matrix. This is pure spiritual
freedom and ecstasy.

Yes, this post is very long, but it does have an ending, here in the
conclusion.

All hallucinogens, to my belief, change core perceptions of reality in turn.
Each one has a completely different affect on your waking reality. As many
of you know, or may come to know, it's so much more that being "really
fucked-up". If you are ready, you will be shown and you will be changed.
If you are not ready, you will only be "really fucked-up".

Happy tripping.
Kira
