My thoughts exactly. I've never taken more than 1200 mg at a time, and
even *that* much is too dangerous to do more than once or twice. And
there comes a point of diminishing returns, when increasing the dose
no longer changes the nature of the trip, though perhaps may make it
last a bit longer.

There is no reason on Earth I can see to take 5000 mg, except suicide.

Or, total stupidity. Total stupidity seems somewhat common amongst
drug abusers. There are lots of people who still abuse Coricidin. Even
though DXM only cough syrups are sold throughout the US.
