Hello,

I would like answers to the following questions:

1. If a 130 lb woman is given 2 mg of Ativan will it "knock" her out?
2. It appears it takes 30 minutes for it to take effect. Is that true?
3. Will she have "ANY" memory of having taken the pills or anything that
happen?
4. How long will the effect last?
5. Is there any chance of something going wrong?

Thanks ahead of time....

Maybe I should explain. My daughter, 14, went to a slumber party. We found
out later that during the party the son of the people who had the party said
he had given some of the girls the Ativan. We are trying to figure out what
the effects would have been.

Please help.

In that case I would advise you to contact a doctor and a lawyer and not a
newsgroup.

I would like to think that a father of a mayhap-raped daughter would have
enough sense to not ask questions in an illegal drug and illegal drug use
discussion group about what the effects could have been. Such statements
would not hold up in a court of law and would in fact be held against you.

Please, if you're honest about this situation, contact a law enforcement
agency and not a forum such as this. This just makes you out to look like a
would-be rapist.

2 mg of ativan by itself should not knock her out. I am on xanax, which i
believe is similiar to ativan, a benzodiazepine. 2mg of ativan in addition
to 4-6 drinks of alchohol my knock her out, or cuase memory problems.
