BTW, thanks for the tips.
I was fairly comfortable with the temp-around 82-84F, occasionally falling to
78 (presumably at night), but I was getting a little concerned about
moisture. In fact, I left them alone for a few days, not even checking for
growth, and had decided today I would try to introduce more moisture before
just giving up.
But not necessary. *See my other post today.

No growth in my 3 toed sloth's experiment. I'm beginning to lose faith in
Uncle Mike.

Seems like you may be right about uncle mike I got a report from Pat... you
know, the sloth. There is the slightest sign of growth in one of 6 jars.
It's still early in the game so that's a great sign. The dishes are stagnant
but I here they are also in a cool situation. Patience it seems is a virtue
after all.
