Contaminents?

At what point do can contamenints not form in the jar anymore? I understand that they cant get a foothold in fully collonized jars, right? Well when exactly can they not be contaminated anymore?

Hey, growing mycelium get get contaminated whilst in the colonising stage. Once it is fully colinised, the substrate can be normally touched, althought don't poke it too much as it will bruise the growing shrooms....although bruised shrooms don't do anything different either than look blue,

So yeah, oncee fully colonised its harder for the subtrate to become contaminated. Hope this helps

Once myc is fully colonized it is very very unlikely to get contamed. Unless you do something dumb.... and people do.
