The light is not even necessary, any amount is enough......the light does
not benefit the shrooms at all, it only shows them what direction to grow,
as long as they get some light, they will be fine.

I heard somewhere that growing the mushies under a blacklight can
cause albinos and mutations, especially if it goes on for a few
generations. I think that PF had to recall some of its spores because
of this mutation, but im not quite sure.
Anyways, on the how much light subject, I just leave mine on the top
shelf in my room, and they grow just fine.
