It does not matter what time you go, the mushrooms do not 'hide'
during the day. The only thing you are trying to beat is the
competition.

Weather conditions are important in that they make the mushrooms come.
Once they are up, it doesn't matter what the weather is. You can pick
them in rain or shine. I guess if there is a tornado warning then ya,
weather conditions are important....
