Do any experienced magic mushroom hunters know if they are indigenous to Northern California/The Bay Area?
I've taken mushrooms twice & I would like to do them again, but for free this time, thinking about going out to some cow farms & scoping out the dung.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Well getting spores to Cali is a bitch but other than that you should have no issues once you get spores...that'll be the hard part...

Around this time a year Panaeolus cinctulus grow around cow feilds and on new and fertilized lawns.
Fall is when most of the active mushrooms pop up for the Bay Area. Here is a list of all of the Nor Cal active mushrooms. Hope this helped. :)
Gymnopilus aeruginosus
Gymnopilus luteofolius
Panaeolopsis sp.
Panaeolus castaneifolius
Panaeolus cinctulus
Pluteus salicinus
Psilocybe azurescens
Psilocybe baeocystis
Psilocybe cyanescens
Psilocybe "cyanofriscosa"
Psilocybe pelliculosa
Psilocybe semilanceata
Psilocybe stuntzii
Psilocybe subaeruginascens
EDIT: I'd give you some helpful links but since this is my first post it won't let me.

How many R44 Raven II hours does your friend have? What is his U.S. flying experience? Bay area flying experience?
