Report Spam Member Accounts?

Should we report forum members who apparently joined only to send spam by private message or post?

I have received 3 "buy music at iTunes" spam private messages in the last couple weeks. These messages were sent by members Duffencosse, Tiertierm and zopignoff.

If we should report spam, to whom or how should we do so?

Sorry bro, I have tried to get in touch with Kush cuz I was a mod here before the site dissapeared but no longer have mod access. I will try to do what I can as fast as I kind but he doesn't seem to check his messages often, just ignore em for another few days and they will all be banned and wiped out as soon as I can get in the ModCP

Thanks, I am hoping Kush will check his messages sometime soon and re-mod me so I can take care of it. He is a very busy person though so it could be days or even weeks...so we will have to work around it for now...sorry for the inconvienience but this place will be running right again shortly.

Here's another member-- VaughnWhite --who is sending private messages with the title "Take Measures Immediately!!!" saying that people's accounts will be suspended unless they visit a "virus scanning" site--

From the message--
"If you do not pass this test* we will have to delete your account and forward a complaint to your ISP with attached log file (your IP address, etc.)."

Of course, the "virus scanner" is really (very probably) a malware program, a virus or trojan itself that the website wants people to install on their computers. (So, anyone who receives such a message, please ignore it.)

member MDSketch is sending private messages that include only a spam link to yet another "buy your viagra here" commercial pill vendor.

He must have been banned already cuz there is no member MDsketch anymore...they are persistent and a pain in the ass...I don't drop in for 2-3 days and there are a dozen spam posts at any given time...idk why they target this site so easily...it has good rankings for "mushroom forum, but if you are just typing in regular stuff like the viagra links, idk what the point is though I know it will raise their rankings...

July 25, 2010. Member "partner" is sending commercial spam private messages to members about real estate sales in Turkey (which I guess would be great if someone wants to grow papaver somniferum in appropriate soil), but it's spam nevertheless.
