Ok so yes I am new to this I have rye grain bags coming and 3 different types of spores and have spent the last 53 hours reading everything I can get my hands on well I don't want to spend money on a box or make it out of a wire and trash bag so I was wondering if I can just go to my basement and oust and alcohol bomb the hell out of my old deep freezer its about 3 feet width and 7 feet long so its not a small one at all I under stand opening it will give a chance for contaminate to get in I was thinking plastic sheeting over the entire top and maybe 3 holes cover it with micro filters when not using for a hole to do something in side.and I was thinking of doing a trap or some kinda of sheeting around the inside as well to prevent getting unwanted micros of crouse ill half to scrub and swab the trap every inch of it fun fun I can place a small light for heat and from what I under stand I would rather leave the light on I think for 12 hours a day the whole time try to achevie a 75 to 80 degree inside the freeze but I have read many forums that its fine to have them the hole time in the light ha maybe I am wrong but just means the will pin early is this wrong to do as well and it should hold moisture well for the 90 humidity wanted and was thinking after I inject the spores and wait I will research what to do next I don't know if I should fruit out the bags heard u could low yield though so should I use a substrate (I have read some good bulk yields with substrate and was wondering if I could do the hole 7 foot bottom with substrate and maybe use around 10 or 15 pounds of the Inoculaited spores to do mass yield is this possible)and if so!!! Pasteurized does this mean it is sterile help I am wanting 50 maybe 75 pounds of poo for me substrate to fill the bottom I think is this to much and can I get it all sterile!!!! I get my stuff on the 21st can't wait and I won't stop reading on this subject so help me before I waste valuable time and money does the frEeze like a bad ideal be honest
