Everything i have read thus far on the forum says molds and myscelia cant click together and transfer toxins, I have a couple cakes that somehow got contaiminated, even though I took precautions about it. I have several cakes and they all are in my grow chamber. They seem to be fine, I have a couple specs of mold contaimination that occured after 90% of the mycelia colonized the substrate. should i try and cut some of this off to help out the mushrooms, its not taking over anything? It;s a greenish blue, it might even be part of the mushroom mycelia so I could be wrong, I haven't tried to wipe it off to see yet but this week thats my plan. Any ideas from people would be helpful, maybe I might just let them take there course of action.

If its blue it may just be bruising, see if it wiped off, if it does then cut it off but if not then it is fine and you want to just leave it...

Yes, I have had to cut off mold, just cut it off, and spray with h202+water solution (kills mold), or sprinkle baking soda on area you had to cut mold off of, it's PH prevents mold from re-occurring, but wont kill it.
[Edit] only once, and it was cobweb my first attempt on just 1 cake, and I cut it off, sprayed with H2O2 and treated with baking powder a vary light sprinkle, it didn't come back, and I haven't seen mold since...
