Has anyone ever heard of people getting in trouble for selling/buying/taking shrooms? I hear of people getting caught with weed and getting slapped on the wrist, and then also of people getting caught with hard stuff and getting in real trouble. I never have heard of anyone getting caught with shrooms and was wondering whether it's one of those things that naturally goes under the radar because the behavior of people that are into shrooms usually isn't violent, they aren't addictive, etc.

There are peeps that get caught but you don't see it too often. I think it is Hydro420 from mycotopia that is doing 15 yrs for possession of a lot of shrooms...he is in tx or Cali though...

What's a "lot" of shrooms? Ounces, pounds, tens of pounds?

I was arrested in 2005 with '15 lbs' of mushroom chocolates (which end up as 15 lbs of a substance containing psilocin, the same charge as you would get for 15 lbs. of dried mushrooms) Additionally I had 16 E pills and a little >oz. of green.

The original charges were 2 class X felonies and some lower class felony for the pot. In IL class X is the same category manslaughter falls under and carries a mandatory minimum of like 6 years.

After a long proceeding, as it was my first offense, i did a week in jail, did well in school, and went thru rehab.

The charges for the X and sticky were dropped. The charge for the shrooms were reduced a category, and THEN I got the lowest possible sentence for that category (4 years) and THEN I got that transfered to probation (4 years happens to be the maximum sentence that can be served as probation in IL)

All in all I was very lucky, and clearly haven't done drugs or contemplated anything illegal since then.

Just warning y'all be careful!

Charges for mushrooms are VERY serious in most places... If they're wet though I've heard you can't actually get charged for them.

The wet law is only in certain states...but they are still illegal

I think the idea is if they're wet, you can claim you thought they were culinary mushrooms and hadn't identified them, so they can't get you on knowing unlawful possession, at least if you have no prior record.

If they're dried, they're considered prepared.

Check out the book "Sacred Mushrooms and the Law" to get the general idea of what the penalties are in your particular state. Don't remember the author's name, but you should be able to Google the title.

Well I bought a PS3 instead, but some advantages of the Xbox 360 is thats its cheaper and there are loads of games out on it and some decent xbox exclusives.

I thought the latest revisions sorted most problems, guess not.
