ive heard about rolling the cakes in vermiculite....what are the benifits of this method

the benefits of this method is that the vermiculite creates an environment/climate that is beneficial to the primordia. Sort of like a casing layer on a bulk substrate. (micro-climate) so to say. This satisfies the thriving primordia (pins).
