View Full Version : Can anyone help identify these please....

Firstly... hello to all. Me an the missus went picking mushies this morning. We found plenty of liberty caps to keep us going but we also picked another species of mushroom which I thought may contain psilocybin. The mushrooms were picked on a grassy hill top which is inhabited by sheep in Wales, Uk. The unknown species were far more abundant than the liberty caps. I have included photos but can take more if required. Were gonna do the liberties this afternoon but I will dry the unidentified ones incase they turn out to be magic shrooms. They are starting to pale a little more than when they were picked. They were a much deeper brown and more slimy. Thanks 4 any help. If I get no response I'll throw them out... thanks.

Oh... one of the pics contains a couple of liberty caps just for comparisons sake :)

Oh well... I've chucked them. Better safe than sorry. The Liberty caps were great tho haha. Me an the missus had 35g each of fresh shroom chopped into a yoghurt. Nice inbetween sort of trip. Watched the film the day after tommorrow. Will get some more tommorrow hehe.

Thats awesome, sounds like fun. I had a migraine and just took a small abort and bam, it was gone....but now I am glowing and my back is tight as hell...

Your pics look like any magic mushies i've been picking with my mate this season - they can look light when drier than the dark colour when they are really wet? Best 2 fields in Sussex I've found this year have been sheep fields. Unfortunately got chased off one by snotty land owner and her two dogs. She had a camera and threatening to send pics of me to the police lol. I tried to avoid the camera (looked a mess that day) but kept picking the shrooms while exiting the field on camera while she started chasing three other guys picking further down the field - there were so many shrooms, I just couldn't help myself - will preserve some for the summer and make tea with the rest though out the cold winter months :0 )
