Gents,

As a noob, firstly let me congratulate whoever it was that set this site up!

I've recently purchased a kit with which to begin cultivating Amazonian 'shrooms. I've injected a tub with the right amounts of liquidised spores and am now waiting for the cake to begin to form. So far, so little (4 days)

What I'm worried about is that the temperature in my house is not quite to the 26 or so degrees that is demanded. More like 20 in the morning. Obviously this is going to affect both germination and yield.

Without going to ridiculous lengths, how would you recommend keeping the temperature high(er) without sacrificing airflow etc?

Thanks in advance!

get a little heater in your grow room if you dont already have a heat source in there.

Cheers, yeah looked into that and ended up buying an electric blanket for about £7 on ebay... Thinking a tupperware box will be a good call for the fruiting stage.

Will keep you posted!

Well you dont want to go over 80 degrees F I have no idea what that would be in C. But the easiest way to keep the temps between 75 degrees F and 80 degrees F is to build a heat bomb. Get a gallon jug and fill it with water then get a aquarium heater and stick down in it and sill it with silicon then put it in your incubation chamber with your jars then you should be set good luck
