Starting Sclerotia on Birdseed

How many CC's of spore solution should I use to start sclerotia using Mexican A-strain in birdseed. I am using a large Mason jar. This is my first time trying this procedure,so all suggestions are more than welcome.

Thanks, I used 2cc and they are going to town. I also used 4 mycobags just for sclerotia growth. I will let you know about them come Halloween. He,He,He................

just out of curiousity, what made you decide to grow sclerotia instead of shrooms? I though Mex-A was a bitch to grow and didn't yield much? Is the strength comparable to cubies, pans, or Psil azur/cyan?

So does the millet bird seed work well? I want to use bird seed instead of rye grain because rye is hard to get around here. I just bought the seed, and more spores, will i be able to innoculate several jars with one jar of bird seed like the PF Tek method? I want to build this empire of my smurf village.
