I have several jars with nice aggressive mycelium going. The growth is strong and rapid and are now even starting to climb up by the sides of the jars.
The growth is not very rizomorphic. It is more cottony. Would it still fruit well?

Cool, keep us updated. Oh by the way what strain is it if you don't mind me asking?

Classic PF-Strain. I also have a few other grain jars with Elephant Dung strain, but they seem to be colonising a lot slower.

Hi Nitro, I had the same problem, no long spikes of riz growth, at least not like it was when I nocc'd the jars right after I got the spores in the mail, those had the long fingers, I had one syringe left over for about 5 months, I nocc'd 12 jars with the same B+ just 5 months older spores and the growth was like you are seeing, cottony and healthy but no riz.
It's only one case so far, hardly a scientific study, but I was wondering if your spores were older too or if they were fresh, just a possible factor. Oh yea, the cakes fruited, I lost 2 but they flushed multiple.
Please post your thoughts Nitro:)
