But what you will need for this is :
A large mixing bowl
BRF
horse poo
Verm
half pint wide mouth
coco-coir

this tek is done in half pint wide mouth jars!

measure out 3 cups of h poo
measure out 3 cups of verm
measure out 1 cups of brf

mix all very well in your large mixing bowl

then make it to field capacity

add the mixture to your half pint jars

then add a layer of dry verm ontop of your brf/hpoo/verm mixture

put on top and PC for 1:15 hr


then inoculate

wait till 100% colonized


open up jars

scrape off verm topping

add a 1/2 inch thick layer of paterized 50/50 coir/verm on top


place into FC


be sure to fan a lot as the pans love high FAE.

you can, however the quality you are getting is usually uncertain, most commercially available hpoo is mostly dirt. but at the same time, it needs to be properly composted. I have heard good things from mycosupply in pittsburg, their prices are good, and the product is excellent, is quite fine however, so a old pillowcase is preferable to a colander for straining. the best is to go out and get your own, but if you are nowhere near a horse farm, use a reputable vendor.

Mushroom compost is spent compost that mushrooms have already decomposed (couldn't be used for mushroom growing), you could buy composted Horse poo from E-bay, but I would just order some pre-pasteurized h-poo/straw compost.

I've made jars with h-poo/brf/verm/worm castings/mineral water and grew some pink buffalos, I took prints and am now using them for rye and coir casings. BTW should have another harvest in a week or two, because I just started fruiting 4 treys.
