Shroom Identification

Hi, i found these in a forest area. I'm in Houston, Texas. I was thinking they were Psilocybe Cubensis since they're very popular around here. But these were growing in dirt :confused: pretty sure they didn't bruise blue. dark brown gills. medium tan all over. average length stalk, not too short or too long. they smell like wood. Any help would be very much appreciated. :D

cubes grow in and/or around cow poop

these arent them, nor are they active i believe

thanks for the time. I'll be sure to take pics of them while they're in their habitat, and i'll remember to get a spore print done.
