Multiple Projects with Oakridge 1st generation spores

I grew the 4th gen and they were a lil more stable as far as consistent looks but these still tear through the substrate like nothing...very rhizomorphic.

Thanks to Stroph for the spores, these are more ravenous than the 4th generation spores I grew in my 1st OR attempt.

Now normally I wouldn't even post it until it is done but since that is where it was on day three, I will post more pics later, plus I am trying a few different BRF teks so we shall see which is faster, I also supplimented LC in the place of water in the PF cake recipe.

I am not sure if I should case the one already in the FC, I hate taking a chance with contamns in the verm....the poo ones are coming along though....we shall see soon enough.

This jar will be birthed tomorrow. I went poking around a lil in the casing and found two small shrooms and stopped looking right away so there should be pins coming through the casing soon....so tomorrow or the day after I will post some pics of the rez-effect one and I am not sure if I am conna case the brf/poo or just leave it as is. I could always do fahtsters late casing tek like stroph suggested when I do see pins on that one two. I have two more containers ready for the fruiting chamber in a day or two as well. So more pics too come.

Lets work on getting new members. For now any new members get a choice of a pan print or a cambo print to start off with.


So that bottle has about 20+ pins on it and it is only 1 in thick in spots and 1/4 inch in others. I am gonna put it on a bed of verm and case it with straight verm so all those pins will grow.

So anyway there are a few pins in the rez tek one and I just did 50/50 G2G spawn/freshly PC'd wbs so hopefully it will colonize it within a few days like last time I did the 3 day colonization proccess with 50/50 spawn and additional spawn material. Anyway there will be more pics as they come and have some other stuff that is on its way as well.

So now that lil disk I cased had shrooms coming out of everywhere so I bet several are digging around the verm as we speak since the cake is cased 360 degrees and placed on soft verm since it was pinning in all directions, with less on the bottom. There were so many knots on the bigger tray and some of the pinns darkened so I cased it too.

It's actually on the lower part of the cake...many of you saw this before but it was my 1st real succes and has sentimental value. Right after all the arguments that came from people telling me you can't grow multiple types of cubies on one block and you can see that is not so in this pic..


So I picked 2 and am printing one of the OR 2nd gen now off the lil disk of many shrooms...lol and as you can see there is more from the Rez-effect tek and they aren't opening yet. I think they were OR's too but the stems are much meatier and they could be something else. We will have to see when they mateur though I am pretty sure in the beginning all I had was OR and the A and Texas ended up mixed I think...so we will see what comes of that.

Though 50/50 spawn to substrate is a lil overkill it will ensure that even if you do get a lil contamination the myc will claim the substrate in most cases before the contamn unless it is one that grows on myc. Certain strains do better than others. I had a compost bag of cambos fruit even though the block looked like cinnamon swirls of mold. The fruits were very small and obviously not gonna be printed due to the mold but they were only as wide as a nickle when they opened anyway. The other grow I did without contamns from the same genetics were 2.5-3inches in diameter so they are effected by the contamns but still gave a 1st flush. When I dunked it was when I found the mold cuz it fell apart when I picked it up. There was nothing visible on the outside after it was colonized. The bag had been contaminated and I through some stalled wbs in it and was just throwing it out so I forgot and came back days later to fid a colonized block....So that really shows that shroomies want to grow despite their dificulties. I would like to see this site be somewhere, where people can come and really learn and find the info and help they need quickly. I am starting to like shroomery but for a noob it would suck because there is a lot of BS and sorting through it is tough. Which is why I spent most of my time at Shroomtalk. I could actually get the info I needed without being talked down to for not knowing something. After all I was there to learn.

So anyone ever needing help with something please ask. I know Patrick, Stroph, and MyWhat? will all be glad to help as well as almost everyone else who is a member here. I am proud to have such a good group of friends. Everyone is respectful here and so far no one has been banned ever. So I am very happy. I got my adderall so I can think again...but I abuse it so I will run out in a couple weeks. It works good if I could take 4 a day but I can't. I tried and lost about 30lbs in a week and some change...so I have to take weight gainer too....but I can think!...lol

So the 1st tray began fruiting on the bottom for some reasin and the ones on the bottom were going under the tray and when the apt was getting inspected I thought it should be hidden so I had to break up the tray....but I tried to not wreck any forming fruit bodies so I positioned the pieces so either side can still grow up so the tray with shrooms is actually the second flush of the first tray but with a lil extra verm. The other tray I did in the minitub only pinned on the sides and there wasn't enough room so I cut a strip out of the middle to make room and put the strip in the FC to fruit separately. Just nocced up a bunch of stuff. The ricewater LC actually turned out to be all myc so it looked like a giant jellyfish...lol

This is the bottom of a cake that had 2 pins and some yellow mold so I burned the mold off with a lighter and it turned blue wihin minutes, the next day there were pins everywhere so I cut it in half cuz the bottom had a shitload of pins too. That is one cake in two pieces, look at all the pins. like 50 on one and 25 on the other half.

I hope I don't lose a tub. One of the trays I added a project too that had a lil contamination...anyway I went to do the Rez tek with the other one and grabbed the wrong one so I evenly mixed the contamns. It was like 3am when I did it but usually when I get up the next day there is fuzz and there isn't...so hopefully. I crumbled that rez that I fruited to make some more wbs but I think last night I should have just gone to bed...I grabbed the wrong jar and through a jar of un PC' wbs by accident.....fucken A! we will see though. I already fruited the one that had baccilus bad by just rinsing it off, the myc came back faster then it did but I can rinse poo...sucks...so we will see. No smell so far. The unPC'd jar smelled alright but I can't tell the difference of old wet wbs and nasties cuz they both smell gross.And the 1st flush was waiting for me this morning. Funny how I always thought the black on top was spores but there is nothing above em...hehe


200grams wet, not too bad for my 1st wbs to poo with a casing.

That is why I love the OR. I took some tissue from inside the stalks and stuck in empti petri dishes so if anyone has a cloning tek that is easy, now would be a great time to post it.

This looks wierd, the ones on the lil one look different from the big one and they are the same cake, I just cut it. I had nocced up some of the jars with texas but OR isn't even a cubie and idk what's up...would be bizzare if a cubie and a subcubie were sharing a cake...kinda would explain why when I cut it the small side pinned everywhere almost immediately...I thought it might have had to do with burning it...it may just be a fat freak, we shall see cuz I don't think they could share but the pfax wasn't possible either and it happend...so just have to see. Probably just another subcubie look. We are all used to the varieties of cubies but I never heard of subcubensis until OR.

The methods are awesome! If you can make a spore syringe you should have no trouble with these two methods....If you are not familiar with these methods Foaf can explain in greater detail.....Or just Google.

Foaf prefers: Nans 9er`s cloning tek combined with Mycota`s LC grain tek.

One can keep first generation clones running for a very long time using the two methods.
