Any weekend mycologists on these forums? I need help identifying what may be cubensis mushrooms. I found these on a hike I took.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

not cubensis, not active
cubensis grow exclusively on cow fields, cow shit ect.

Could these possibly be a different psilocybin containing strain of mushroom?

Psilocybe Cubensis Range Map.

I am not sure what you have found? It is not Cubensis!
I have include a site map as to where Psilocybe Cubensis are known to be found( Areas in green )....Where foaf hunts mushrooms the temps parameters are to cold? for cubensis? It is more than likely they will not be found again untill late spring or early summer.....Although I have heard it is possible to find them year round in Florida,USA....Dunno?

Foafs last find was 11/29/07:)
