their are two types of mycelium cottny type witch grows veary dence and does not fruit and a roapy type that fruits but we all know that because we all have THE MUSHROOM CULTIVATOR right
so all you need to do than to clean up the multispore culture is to seperate the two types of mycelium. To seperate the two all you need to do is break off a chunk of wbs or pf cake rye popcorn or what ever you used that day. place it on the bottom of a container filled with pasturized straw deeper is more important than wider place in mycelium a warm place for a week or so and you should see how the cottony mycelium will dominate the bottom of the container while the ropy stuff will race to the top. than take some of the ropy stuff and use it to conilize more straw.
I hope this helps

Monokaryotic mycellium is the ropy kind and Dikaryotic is the fluffy. Ive never heard of anyone taking the ropy strands and putting them into another tub to colonize.
