Hey folks - looks like I'm back, for now! Been off on hols, then rather ill
with food poisoning and a subsequent (to a dehydrated and mal-nourished bod,
lack of sleep etc.) partial nervous breakdown of sorts. Just returned to
work today to a defunct Usenet account (freebie deal is over - haven't yet
got around to paying up!), so signed up for a new free one until I get the
German one paid up for.

Because of the above ill shit, I'll be off the drugs for a while until 'my
shit settles' again - even off the booze and weed! Still gonna be Usenetting
if I can though, and in fact, I think it may have been the hols without
Usenet that made me have the crash, heheheheh...!

Heh, not as such - just been such a long couple of years psycho-emotionally,
and with getting ill so much and again, something had to give, and give it
did. Luckily it didn't last longer than about 5 or 6 days - Kath was worried
sick, bless her - not good seeing the person you love shaking like a leaf
and crying almost non-stop for ~3 or 4 days, for apparently absolutely no
reason. Very strange stuff - the first day, I just kept crying tears of
joy - anything would set me off - I couldn't even smile without it bursting
out. The day after I felt so damned sad I just couldn't stop sobbing, then
geting absolutely furious for no reason - I would just suddenly feel the
anger rise, then back to the tears. I was a fucking wreck! After the 3rd day
I just looked and felt really ill. Not like me at all - I'm a very
emotionally stable person by nature.

Sat. night we went to watch Asian Dub Foundation play their only North
England gig, and the last one before they start their tour of Asia. It was
fucking fantastic! Real pumping, banging tunes - just couldn't NOT dance to
it! I don't think I've ever danced harder in my life - that was jut to much
damned fun LOL! Kath and Simon were going mental too and had a great time,
as did my old(est) mate Rob who came along. Met lots of people there that we
knew too. Rob stayed over, so we sat up and buzzed, listening to old Floyd
stuff etc. until around 4 or 5 a.m.

Heh, not as such - just been such a long couple of years psycho-emotionally,
and with getting ill so much and again, something had to give, and give it
did. Luckily it didn't last longer than about 5 or 6 days - Kath was worried
sick, bless her - not good seeing the person you love shaking like a leaf
and crying almost non-stop for ~3 or 4 days, for apparently absolutely no
reason. Very strange stuff - the first day, I just kept crying tears of
joy - anything would set me off - I couldn't even smile without it bursting
out. The day after I felt so damned sad I just couldn't stop sobbing, then
geting absolutely furious for no reason - I would just suddenly feel the
anger rise, then back to the tears. I was a fucking wreck! After the 3rd day
I just looked and felt really ill. Not like me at all - I'm a very
emotionally stable person by nature.

I actually tried to work Wednesday, but got more or less packed off home
after about 20 minutes I looked that bad. I got told not to think about
coming back for a few days. Cost me 3 days of pay, or 3 more of my PD's
though - that hurts - I can't afford to lose 3 days money, and if I take
them as PD's, I'm down to *half* my total for the year, and will likely have
to take unpaid time off during the hols. Sucks...

Heheh - goat stew! Kath went to a Lancashire real-foods show at the w/e and
found a stall selling local goat meat and cheese - first time I ever had
it - was expecting it to be a bit like lamb, but funnily enough, it tasting
more like beef! Damned good it was though, especially since I made the stew
