Thanks for the help, now I need a bit more

Yesterday I got my first 3 shrooms off of my cakes, and had an
enjoyable time, somewhat dreaming of the utopia i hope to someday
create. A society where people decide to live in peace without
laws(the REAL Anarchy theory, not the punk molotov cocktail through
your window anarchy).

This is well and fine, but in the past 3-4 weeks that the shrooms have
been in their terrariums, these were the only 3 to grow(not counting 5
or 6 aborts). And these shrooms came from only 2 of my 6 cakes.

I should probably essplain my setup:
I'm using a poor man's terrarium(3 liter bottles, cut, and have the
bottom filled with perlite)
and I spray once or twice a day and always make sure to fan once very
well, but usually I am able to fan twice a day.

only the 2 cakes show pins, but there are very few and far between.

I was thinking of using a dunk tek to hydrate them better. Am I right
to think this? Should I change my setup completely?

it is always good to dunk after flushes.... refrigerate them and dunk
for about 18 hours.

Thank you very much, how long do you suggest refrigerating them though

oh, and i just realized, should i put them in something while they are
in the refrigerator? I know that food will absorb odors/tastes/smells
of other foods when left out in the open in a fridge(i cook a lot, i
even studied the culinary arts) and I am just a little worried that my
frige isn't the most hygenic in the world(nor is it anywhere close) and
would like to take as few risks as possible.

dunk in closed container sealed in fridge for 18 hours or so....
for PT Tek I just put a jar over the lid/cake in the terrainium that way
i never touch them.
