First Casing Flush

After years of just discarding spent PFTek cakes, on the advice of
Buggin69 my cat decided to case her spent (4ish flushes) cakes.

We had post the pic's of these crazy suckers.

See alt.binaries.flood and look for two posts by me with the subjects:

Pic 1 has been cased for 7 days where Pic 2 has been 4 days.

Those little containers have 2 spent PFTek Cakes crumbled up in a pure
vermiculate case (.25" inch top and .5" bottom) in a 11 gallon
rubbermade terrarium.

If you look closely you will see my last 4 real PF cakes just about
ready to birth on the top of pic2. These will be going directly into a
case!!

The next step is to figure out how to make spore syringes so we can
continue PF's strain. (No, we won't be selling them :)

Thank you, thank you. But I can't take full credit. Liteage put the idea
in my head so if you figure out taht FTP thing be sure to hit him up
too.

The term first flush effect refers to rapid changes in water qualitythat occur after early season rains. sediments and other accumulated organic particles on the river bed are re-suspended, and dissolved substances from soil and shallow groundwater can be flushed into streams.
