I have been FEASTING on wild mushrooms of late; Boletus sp., Lactarius
sp., Chanterelles, big, fat, meaty polypores... Many species are
appearing unusually early, probably in response to the very wet
weather. I'm in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia.
Not too far geographically from Delmarva, but quite different
topographically. Never chanced upon anything magic, though I hear
others have found things of interest in the vicinity.
